Joanne:

You really need to talk your results over with your doctor. At age 44, you may have some "normal" osteopenia... how "bad" it is depends on the normals of the machine, what you were before, etc, etc. So talk it over with your doctor.

On the other hand, it sounds like you're doing everything right. So don't lose any sleep over it in the meantime.
