I am just over 16 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of days I have been experiencing pain, on and off, in my lower abdomen initially on the right hand side but now on both. It is more sharp than dull ache. Could this simply be the muscles in this area relaxing as a result of my pregnancy or is it too early for this to be going on? Should I be worried that something is wrong? Thanks in anticipation of a response.
