Hello and thanks to all for your experiences and information. I have been having problems with heavy bleeding during my eight day period, then continued bleeding for most of the month, and excessive, stabbing pain in my lower abdomen for about three years now. This is making me crazy. I am 39 years old and my doctor is sure I am not going through early menopause, although my Mother and Grandmother went through it at age 41. Hormones have not helped and make me feel crazy, I have tried alternative herbal methods and am now looking at endometrial ablation. My doctor suspected fibroids and I had two sonograms done. No fibroids were found, but I have an enlarged uterus and three cysts on my right ovary. I am hoping the ablation will help with these symptoms. I have thought about hysterectomy, but I want to try the ablation first. My doctor gives me about a 60% chance pf this procedure helping. Any thoughts on this? Thanks again for sharing all of your information. It is helping me to decide what is best for me......
