I have alot of back pain Endometriosis can cause pain anywhere in the pelvis or abdomen, including the back. A "tilted" uterus, called a retroverted uterus in medical terminology, is a condition where the uterus is pointing down, towards the rectum, instead of towards the bladder. During intercourse the uterus moves a lot, and can push against other organs, causing pain. With endometriosis, a tilted uterus may mean that the uterus is "stuck" to the colon, due to the endometriosis implants. These implants tend to cause scar tissue. Endometriosis is a difficult disease to treat. Please discuss these issues with your gynecologist. Also, there is a lot of information about endometriosis right here at obgyn.net for you to review. Good luck, and thanks for the question.
