Increased androgens can increase weight and muscle mass,and as you see,prevent ovulation.No indication of weight loss on Clomid--though able to induce ovulation in approx.85-90% of PCO pt.s,with preg.rates around 60%.New research utilizing oral antidiabetic medication has been shown in early studies to promote weight loss and restore ovulation.
