High Testosterone and PCOSFrom: Sue (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 May 1998 18:02:07 -0500 (CDT)
I stopped taking the pill 5 months ago and have only had one period since, which my Dr induced with Provera. I recently had blood work done with results of high testosterone. My Dr suppects PCOS and I am having an ultrasound done next week. She said I would probably then be put on clomid because I would like to become pregnant. My question is - I am about 40 pounds overweight, which I have read may be caused by high testosterone and PCOS, if I begin taking Clomid will I be better able to control my weight. I watch what I eat now, but just seem to keep gaining. Thanks for your advise. Sue K
