Mid-cycle bleeding

I'm 27 years old and have been trying to get pregnant now for the last 7 menstrual cycles. My cycles are usually 25 to 26 days and are very heavy with severe cramps and sickness. I'm taking temperatures, checking cervical mucus, the whole nine yards to determine ovulation so that we can time it right. The last two cycles, I have started bleeding mid-cycle. Last month my period lasted for 6 days and then on day 12 I started spotting and it lasted for 5 days (started off red but after a day turned brown). I had my normal period on day 26 of that cycle and it lasted for 5 days.

This cycle, I started bleeding on day 11 and unlike the first cycle, this was more than spotting. It was like I had started my period again but it lasted for 3 days. I'm pretty sure that I didn't ovulate this cycle because my temperatures have stayed pretty much constant the entire time.

I called my gynecologist last month and the nurse said that the earliest they could get me in was June so I asked her what she thought. She said that it could be anything...a hormonal imbalance, a cyst, a miscarriage (which I'm pretty sure it wasn't) or cancer. Then she tells me not to worry about it but if it was still happening after a week to call back. Now how can she tell me not to worry about it when she said that it could possibly be cancer.

I've got an appointment for the end of June but I need something to ease my mind right now. I don't know what I should do. Obviously this isn't helping me to get pregnant when I'm bleeding every other week. Any suggestion would very much be appreciated. Thanks alot!
