I'm no expert, but my experience with my 2nd son was very similar with the BBTs (I didn't have IUI).....my temp was in a similar range and then dropped about that much around maybe 18 days post-OV. I already knew I was pregnant and panicked, so I called the midwife who put me on 25 mg of progesterone suppositories once a day. I now know that that is a very low dosage and I wonder (doubt?) if that made any difference in my keeping the pregnancy. I now have a 7 month old at home. I'm telling you this just so you can tell your friend that maybe things will work out and that in my case, I really do believe that the temp shift was just "one of those things". I always thought that your temps are somewhat higher while on progesterone anyway, so maybe this shift of your friend's is just in response to her being off the progesterone and maybe she's pregnant anyway. Like I said, I am NOT an expert...I just wanted you to give her my best wishes and to offer a little bit of hope that even with the temp change, maybe this is the month for her.
