AmenorheaFrom: Beth (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 27 May 1998 12:23:03 -0500 (CDT)
I am 32 years old and have not had a period in over 2 years. I have seen an endocronologist who has run blood tests and an MRI on me. The only thing that has shown up is that my stress hormone levels were high and my estrogen levels are extremely low. This is extremely odd because my gyn has me on a high estrogen dose Ovcon 50 in order to try to induce a period. This means for some reason the estrogen is not being absorbed into my body. I do want to have children someday. My endocronolgist has suggested to eat better and wait and see what happens. I have been waiting two years and think it's hard to believe that time will heal all wounds. Any idea what may be causing the problem?
