I have a follow up appt. with my doctor next week but I just want a second opinion. I am 25, unmarried, no children but would like to have someday. I have been having excruciating pain for about 5 months and finally I agreed to have this procedure done. I am wondering the causes of this condition? Also, will I ever get rid of this pain? Also, can I take medication for this condition? I don't actually know what it is and I would like a description of the condition so that I might understand it better. I have very uncomfortable periods and pain all other time. Please answser my questions with detail in that I may have to make a decision on treatments very soon. I cannot live with the pain any longer. However, I have heard the only way to get rid of the pain is to have a hysterrectomy.
