Since it takes 10-14 days from fertilization to implantation, day 23 for a + preg. test sounds too early if you got pregnant this cycle.

30-50% of pregnancies have staining and about 50% of those will miscarry. The average miscarriage rate is 17-25%.

Good luck. Consider getting confirmation of the pregnancy and how far along you are.
