Re: Zoloft and SexFrom: lkaufman (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 22 May 1998 08:26:52 -0500
I tried Zoloft and Prozac with all the negative results you mentioned, and more. My therapist and my doc finally prescribed Paxil (20mg) 1 a day which I took with no negative results and now I'm taking half of a Paxil (10mg) 1 a day. I went off a couple of times and reverted to my "old self" and my doc told me that 40 to 60 percent of people who suspend their anti depressant meds the first time usually go back on, and of those who choose to suspend yet again 80 percent go back on but stay on it permanently. It's a bad idea to experiment without your physician's knowledge so at least call and say what you're intending to do so it's in your record or the doc can discuss it with you.
