In genral, cryosurgery is no longer widelyused because it has a higher failure rate than other methods ( LEEP< diathermy, laser). However, no method of physical treatment will eradicate HPV, and if this is the only abnormalilty on colposcopy and biopsy woudl reocmmend no fruther treatment at this stage - sjut regular follow-up.
