( I haven't even missed my period yet). But, I have had some brown spotting for the past couple of days. I've had this brown spotting for several years. I know this could mean polyps, or a number of other things. My question is, does this indicate higher chance for a miscarriage, just because I am spotting? I know that spotting basically means your endometrial lining is shedding...which can possible expel the implanted embryo...correct? A little background: I have a 10 month-old, and I bled during that pregnancy a couple of times too. I have had progesterone tests done in the past during the second half of my cycle, and they were in the healthy range. I had an endometrial biopsy a couple years ago, also, and no problems there, either.
