I went to my OB today. I am almost 35 weeks pg. We talked about the birth and he is really after me to go C section again. His reasoning was the new ACOG guidelines. I have done an extensive search and cannot find anything about these new guidelines. All Im finding are the one from 1995 which to me sound pretty great. He is stating to me that the uterine rupture rate is higher than 1/300. He says the new guidelines state that they are really 3/100. I was wondering if any of the doctors could comment on this and also if you could give me a link to an article I could go to to see the new guidelines. I REALLY want to go VBAC this time but I want to make a very informed decision about this too. Thanks in advance.
