Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: elavil and pregnancy" Dr. Bradley told me in a previous post that elavil was safe to take during pregnancy...my neurologist has since told me absolutely not! I would tend to trust an ob/gyn's opinion in this area more because you probably have had women on it for various reasons. BTW, I am not pregnant, but would like to be. I am taking elavil 25mg qhs for neuropathic pain in the genitofemoral nerve distribution. All tests for a reason for this pain have been negative. Thanks for any information.
