My second child was born August 26, 1997. I fully breast fed her up until the end of January 1998/early February. She was completely wheaned by early-mid February 98. My periods returned April 9 and lasted for approx 6 days. It is now May 20, and I stil have not yet got my period. I have had the odd mild and niggly pain, which has subsided. I have done two pregnancy tests, both of which shoed negative results. My husband had a vasectomy back in late October 97, but never went for his follow up check two months later to see if the sperm had all been cleared and were no longer being realeased at ejaculation. I am not on any form of contraception, nor do we use any when we make love. What is wrong with me? I began taking the contraceptive pill at 16 yrs of age approx 2 yrs after getting my periods - have taken it all my life and only stopped taking it when I found out i was pregnant with my second child. Why have I not got my periods? Could I be pregnant even though two tests have been negative. I would really like your advice. If it continues i will see my Gynocologist. K. Tice
