Katrhy--Leep x2 can cause a cervical stenosis and perhaps more cramping. This, however is rel.rare.Could be checked bp placing a metal probe thru cervix into endometrial cavity.Ave.age for true menopause around 52--lower in smokers-tends to have a genetic basis.May also be lower in tall, thin pt.'s.Sounds like perimenopausal symptoms--could check a day 3 FSH(hormone level)or do a BBT chart and see if you're ovulating and relate symptoms to phase of cycle. If your physician is not available--consult another with interest in this problem.Antiprostaglandins or low dose BCP's may help here.Good luck!Keep us informed.
