2nd request: What is endosalpingiosis???

Hello all:

I just had my second surgery for endometriosis and to remove two large uterine fibroids. Also mentioned in the pathology report were endosalpingiosis and fibroadipose, which were found in the cul-de-sac and on the uterosacral and broad ligaments.

Can someone tell me what endosalpingiosis is? The doctor said it is a "cousin" of endometriosis, acts the same way and is treated the same way (excision). Is it stray Fallopian tube tissue that implants elsewhere in the pelvic cavity?

I assume fibroadipose is fibroid tissue. What was it doing in the cul-de-sac? Can fibroid tumors grow in places other than the uterus?

Thanks in advance.
