The most important consideration for the route or technique of the surgery must be left up to your surgeon. The surgical approach that is most comfortable for him/her will be the safest and most expeditious. You might check out this week's info("Bantering with Dr.B")on laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy, if the equipment is available in your area. Uterine size may present no problem, post-operative recuperation is minimal.
