Breast Pain goes *poof*--should I worry?From: CyberTR (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 13 May 1998 10:55:01 -0500 (CDT)
When you're on the low-dose pill (as I have for 4 months now) and have had side effects that are pill related Breast tenderness, since day one) and they go away in the middle of a cycle, is that cause for concern? In the first half of my pill cycle, they hurt terribly! But in this third week of active pills, my usual tenderness has gradually gone away until they right now don't hurt anymore, and a slight increase in size I noticed going down as well. Usually this tenderness would last until at least it was time for my period, then start again with the restarting of active pills. With the slight BTB I wrote about earlier on this board is this a sign that: A.) I've finally adjusted to the pill and there is no reason for concern, or: B.) this is a bad sign--I'm paranoid that I'm gonna be that 1% that get pregnant on the pill! But logic would dictate that such pain would get worse and stay worse, doesn't it? I have no other pg symptoms, had a negative hpt at 13 days after my last relations, and it's a week until my pill period is due.... Any thoughts will be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!
