Dear Denise, Congratulations on your preganancy! Although it is good practice to try and keep snot nose little kids and sick adults away for a while, it is also nearly impossible some times. Especially when you are going stir crazy to get out of the house. A good idea is to make sure that EVERYONE washes their hands before touching/ holding the baby when they come to visit. This will help. As far as bundling up from head to toe... if you live in a warm climate it would be cruel to bundle him/her up too much.If you are in a colder climate it is more reasonable. Rule of thumb is to clothe them in the number of layers YOU would wear, plus have a light blanket handy. Once again it will be impossible to keep every germ away and you could go neurotic trying. Try and keep in mind this will be the same little kid that will eventually enjoy eating dirt and anything else they can get their little paws on!!! good luck!
