Reply: james Connerth md: "Re: ????????" Are all miscarriages painful? My girlfiend was having some slight pain in her abdomen and ovary areas last week. She also suspected she was pregnant. She took a HPT and it was negative. Her period was due late this week, but came yesterday with no pain or any symptoms. She says while urinating yesterday a chuck of blood fell into the toilet. (This was before she know here period was coming. Urination was as normal, with normal color, then the chunk of blood fell.) Afterwards she began to spot heavily, not yet flowing. Today, she is flowing very heavily, which is abnormal for her. She has no pain or cramps. Can you give some insight?
