Ovaries too?" Just diagnosed with a 9.2 cms fibroid. Doctor suggests total hysterectomy. I'm 48, been on HRT for over a year, in good physical condition. Having constant cramping, soreness in belly, inconsistent bowels, etc. Doctor says hys. should help everything. At my age, any reason to not take the ovaries?
