2+ months post TAH/BSO -- Why do I look pregnant???From: Beth (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 May 1998 07:52:44 -0500 (CDT)
Help! I am 2 1/2 months post TAH/BSO. I've been switching ERT therapies and settled on Estrotab for the last 3 weeks, plus Inderal to prevent migraines that were triggered by other types of estrogen. I also take Prozac 20 mg daily and Trazadone at night. I've been gaining weight and my abdomen is protruding so that I look like I'm pregnant!!! Is it the estrogen? I had also been on additional antidepressants -- Wellbutrin and Adderall -- which I have weaned myself off of since my surgery. Could this be causing weight gain? It concerns me that the weight gain seems to be all in my abdomen, making it look swollen. Any thoughts, or is this normal?
