No Period!From: Karen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 May 1998 07:28:03 -0500 (CDT)
I am 28 years old. My periods have always been somewhat sporadic such as every 35-40 days. It took me over a year and a half to conceive because of this. I gave birth in June of 97. Breastfed. I even had regular periods every 30 days on the dot when breastfeeding. Stopped breastfeeding in Oct. Had regular periods in Nov. and Dec. Didn't have one in Jan. Began again Feb. 28. Didn't have one in March or April. I am not on any medications. Have no abnormal stress factors. No weight loss or gain. No other signs or symptons of illness. I am average and "normal". This is not normal in my family as all my relatives are quite regular. In fact, right around the time that I should start, I begin bloating and cramping like I might. But I don't. This is not normal for me to completely skip two months. I don't feel like this is healthy for me. IS there anything I can do to jumpstart my period? What could be wrong with me?
