Dear Dr. Marchbein: I am now scheduled for laparoscopic removal of my ovaries. My CA 125 was 9. Assuming the mass is benign, I am being asked whether I want my uterus taken out trans-vaginally. I have two small fibroids. Is this the prudent thing to do?
