Thank you for your response Dr. Radnich.

You suggest I reduce my weight to "where I want it to be". What about if I'm happy with the weight I am now? I've been struggling with my weight all my life, and now I have more energy and stamina that I ever had. I was an overweight child, who became a sick young woman after starving herself for 10 years in order to get AND stay thin.

Since I've gained the weight back, I feel better than in those ten years at 130 lbs.

So, what about people like me? Presently I weight 275 lbs. I'm 30 years old, and I'll never diet again. My regular doctor said to me that many patients of hers have had perfectly normal pregnancies and delivered perfect babies. I agree there is more risks when being overweight, but is having a child at my weight a REAL no-no in your opinion???
