I was placed on HRT immediately after surgery. I still suffer from the pain of endometriosis in the lower abdominal area. My doctor supplemented my estrogen with Aygestin which helps some. I have started having severe pain at the coccyx area and am wondering if the endometriosis can still grow and move to new locations this long after the surgery. Also, has anyone else experienced the continuing pain after the surgery. I had a very severe case of the endo which had invaded all parts of the pelvic area and areas around the spine. I am 43 years old, 2 children delivered by C-section, so also have much scar tissue. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
