Susan,

I'm sorry to hear you had an ectopic pg. I have been there (twice) and I know what it means. I'm also doing IVF now.

When you need information: the Atlanta Reproductive Health Centre has a very good information which explains the whole process. They even include the personal story of a woman undergoing IVF. You can find it on the Womans Health page of the WHF under Fertility. There are some other great addresses there too! And you may e-mail me if you have more questions.
