My endo specialist diagnoses me with severe pelvic pain due to adhesions and endometriosis, yet will prescribe nothing stronger than Aleve. I asked for pain meds only for the worst days of the month (4-5), and yet she states that her big concern is that I receive a "good quality of life." I feel like I'm getting mixed signals. I am not a drug addict - I am a person in alot of pain! Also, if endo is not treated, will a pain clinic be able to help me? I read that they could possibly inject me with nerve blocks that can last for months at a time. Will this help me? Thank you!
