Thank you Sherry--Alot depends on circumstances surrounding the development of your deep vein thrombosis. Was it spontaneous or related to trauma of some sort?Any family history of clotting disorders?Do you smoke?Evista only studied for two years prior to FDA approval-so long term studies are lacking. One baby aspirin a day would possibly be helpful--or perhaps a drink of grape juice(may also decrease clots).
