ASTROGLIDE?" Thanks to all the doctors, and others who responded to my questions about hysterectomy and CA-125 and cancer and fibroids. The information I received here allowed me to have a more informed conversation with my doctor, 1.5 hours in fact! We mutually decided to wait until August and recheck the fibroids and if they are still growing like mad, then do a TAH. He was very surprised that the second opinion physician had done the CA-125 and said (just like many of you did) that it is unreliable in premenopausal women and that he expects it to be elevated with fibroids. Thnaks again, no longer confused in Phoenix (just irritated at aging!)
