What determines an innie or an outtie belly button? It is very large around and sticks out about an inch from my belly. I do not have any kind of a hernia around it, it has been checked ny every doctor I have ever gone to,they seems amazed by it. What exactly determines what kind of belly button you will have I feel like some kind of a freak by having such a protruding belly button. I have always been made fun of by other girls, boyfriends, family members,etc. Is it common for me to be like this? I have never seen another belly button like mine.
