Menustration woesFrom: Ellen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 31 Mar 1998 22:08:12 -0600 (CST)
I am going 21 and I have been very bothered with my menustration cycle of late. I started menustrating when I was 13, and for the first few years (between 13 - 18), my menustration though not regular, came on a monthly basis and each period lasted approximately 5-6 days. However, my cycle started to change when I was approaching 19. My menses started to be irregular - either every 1.5 months or 2 months. Also, each period only lasted 4 days; I am bleeding as much as before. I am not sexually active, I do not take pills and I don't think I have any medical problems. I am worried that I may not be able to concieve, as compared to the majority of the women of my age seem to have regular periods. I am slightly plump, but I have been so since 14-15. So what could be my problem? What should I do? All advice would be greatly appreciated.
