No, I don't think so: Indeed fibroids VERY seldom turn cancerous (about 1:10,000) So don't worry.

On the other hand a Ca-125 of 80 is a little elevated, even with a fibroid. Was this the first time you checked your Ca-125?

The point is that it sometimes can be difficult to be sure about a fibroid versus a endometriosis-cyst or so.

So my advice is to have a second opinion to be sure.
