Thanks to all who responded to this query. I am curious to know what would be the controvery in this matter, however. Would it simply be the fact that some (docs) believe the progestin will help prevent regrowth and others don't believe this to be true? If so, I guess it is like everything - you can find some documentation/studies/etc to support whatever you believe to be true. Sure makes for difficult decision making! Thanks again for the responses...Jean ps Judy - Yes, I feel absolutely great 9 mos post surgery!Just trying to straighten some facts out in my mind before hormone therapy. Putting it off and off because I do feel so good and I hate to start messing with hormones - but I know that for osteo and heart matters it seems to be the way to go. Am eating healthy, taking supplements and exercising faithfully in the meantime.
