hello dr. I would greatly gretaly appreciate your dire help. I have been now to 4 dr.s about a problem. I have had period problems now for say 14 yrs now. I have never had a regular cycle, and now i dont seem to get one at all. It began with one about every 3 months then six now never. If i take birth controll i will get one, but as soon as i am off it nothing..nada. I have had numerous test ran on me. hormone test, thirod,ultra sound,flex, laproscopy, chemical, u name it. So far i have managed to baffle 4 dr.s as to why I dont get a period because all test ran come back in tip top shape. I am a twenty yr old female and also have accompaning pains reoccurring bacteria infections, and have been in the hospital once supposely due to P.I.D. but according to the lapro test everything is fine on the insides..no scaring no nothing. ;-( I am tired alot, dont feel good, etc. somedays i get real sharp pains in my lower adomen....ovarie areas. Also I periodically get a bloating in my stomach and bladder pains that will not go away with urination. Although i do not get urination pains and have also been tested for diseases several times. Everything came back fine. Please if you could help me in any given way...it would be greatly appreciated. What ever this is I have is causing me not to get a period and not to ovualte. I f you could give me possible reasons on anything that fits this description it would be of great appreciation. Also I have taking ovualtion test and recorded my temp every moring to see if i was ovulating...(not ovualting)..My temp never rises within a few degrees.and when i did get a period even on birth controll it would last a grueling 2 weeks.....accompanied with painfull lower back pain, stomach pain....headachs...tired/fatigued. and severe mood swings. I hope to hear back from you..hopefully you can be the dr. that can give me some insight due to my dr.s being baffled and giving up on me....please help! scincerly, Tracey P.s. The dr.s as well as I have considered possible endrometrios, when i had the laprscopy my dr had given me a hormone shot to induce a period. A week before my surgry i had gotten a very unusally short period which lasted 3 days er so.....would this effect the result in finding possible endro considering that the urteria lining sheds with a period? I myself feel that it is endro ....My gyn gave me a panfelit on it that asked questions as to symptoms of endro....then questions I could answer omitting the having a child questions....all came back with a definite YES....ANY DOCTOR out there that can send me any possible information on a possible cause as to why all this is going o with me......Please do....I am on a mission to solve or at least find some answers to my problems....I have decided to take this upon my on hands because the current doctors have run out of possiblities as to the whys? and hows? of my problem..So i have seeked out a dr that can possible aid me in directing my dr.s in uncovering what ever this is........Thank you all that have taking the time and effert to help me....U have no clue as to what this means to me...Thanks ;-) (If u respond to this letter please e-m my home address at gothicrelm@aol.com)
