I test at the same time every day, whether it be first morning urine, or ten in the morning or two in the afternoon. Whether or not you have sex has nothing to do with the chemical interaction regarding the surge.

You just test daily and when it turns blue, as the directions say you will be ovulating soon, and that is the time to start having intercourse.
