odds of miscarriage after seeing the heartbeat?

I had a blighted ovum with my first pregnancy. I am currently just over 7 weeks pregnant. At my first Drs. appointment at 7 weeks exactly, We looked for and saw the heartbeat!! My Dr. says that after he checks me at 10 weeks we can be very certain that we wont miscarry again. What are my odds now, I thought they were pretty good once you saw the heartbeat at any stage! Also the baby measured a few days to small but Doctor sait it is most likely the machines inaccuracy...Any help would be appreciated...Thank you!
