These include post op urinary infection, incomplete voiding (and hence overflow incontinence,) an unstable bladder and most important of all to exclude, a bladder fistula. Your will be in a strong position to advise by taking a detailed history and examination. If this fails to identify or cure the problem then further urodynamic assessment may be required. Take heart- it's common to have short-term problems after colposuspension, but do see your doctor!
