abdominal painFrom: christine (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 10 Mar 1998 12:35:05 -0600 (CST)
HI last night after (heterosexual) sex (I note this only because nothing else that I ate during the day was unusual...I have been sexually active for a year so this isn't too strange, either) I felt a cramp coming on. Next thing I knew I was doubled over in pain, it was painful to walk, and I wasn't sure if I felt like I was going to vomit or just having cramps. I sat on the toilet for a while, took a bath, finally some of the pain settled a little...I went to bed and layed on my back with my shoulder and knees raised in an almost upright position. Eventually I rolled to my side and fell asleep. This morning and today I still have a slight ache and it is painful to urinate...I am feeling the pain in both sides of my stomach -- but it's not the kind of pain during a urinary tract infection. I think I am about a week and a half from having my period. What could this be...and should I see a doctor? Thank you so much, christine
