With a normal amount of oestrogens from the ovarian follicles the endometrial lining proliferates (becomes thicker) and provera changes this in a secretory state and after withdrawal of provera shedding occurs. But without proliferation nothing occurs. But then there is doubt upon the oestrogen status. After stopping the tablets you cannot expect side effects from the tablets.
