For me? I was *so* tired. I fell asleep on the bus coming home from work, and I'd *never* done that in my life. I'd been starting to fall asleep at 9 pm, when ordinarily I liked to stay up until midnight or later. I started hating coffee (and I'd been drinking 6-8 cups of it a day) and even Coka Cola. I'd been gagging on my toothbrush for at least a week. I was at least 6 weeks pregnant when I finally took a HPT, so all those hormones had had a chance to get firmly entrenched!

When the nausea came along (after 7 or 8 weeks in my case) it didn't feel like any nausea I'd ever felt. It was a bit like the queasy light-headedness you get right before you throw up....sometimes for hours. Usually without throwing up at all. But at first I couldn't recognize it, and only knew that I felt weird and green around the gills.

And yes, the hunger was a lot like Darcy describes: one moment not there, and the next, hitting. And if I didn't eat very soon (one of my coworkers ran out and bought me crackers that first day, and they were a godsend) I *would* throw up.

But of course your experience may be *entirely* different. I hope you get the response you want (and soon!)
