I've seen this before but no one has delineated the physiology behind this change. I don't know.

Since you only ovulate once, the color change may have continued rather than showing "another" surge. It takes an average, healthy couple 6 months to get pregnant with the range from 1-18 months. Telling you to be patient is obviously not what you want to hear so I won't say it. Consider the statistical probability that you will be pregnant soon.

Cut back on fluids after 5-6 PM. You're describing bladder irritability or excessive fluid if it's 20-25 times a night. If it's ot fluid intake, discuss this with your doctor to find out why your bladder is so irritable or unstable (as in detrusor (bladder wall muscle) instability).
