Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Danocrine and side effects" HI, I have been taking 200 mg danocrine daily for 11 weeks post hysterectomy, ( had severe endo.). I was experiencing al ot of depression(I already take antidepressants due to anxiety and depression), but couldnt figure out why I was feeling really depressed. I stopped the danocrine 3 days ago because I am going to be starting estrogen replacement. Guess what? I have been mostly depression free for these last 3 days! i have more anxiety for some reason, but my depression seems to have lifted. I read an article on the web last night that lists depression as a side effect of danocrine. I see the dr. tomorrow and am going to tell him about it. I gather he will just look at me and tell me no it doesnt,but I am living proof that it does! I do feel more bowel pain(slight) since I am off danocrine, could this mean I still have bowel endo, or could it just be the 12 week post op. feeling? How will I know if the endo comes back after going on estrogen,will the endo pain be as intense on some other organs since I haven;t got my reproductive organs? lisa Next message: Harvey S.
