Ashley Hill, M.D.: "Re: cervical cyst" wanted: information on cervial cysts: treatments, potential causes, anything history: approx. 4 months ago i found a small (approx. 2mm) cyst on my posterior cervix. i had just had a pelvic exam and pap the prior week, which showed no abnormailities. i consulted my family doctor, who told me that while it appeared to present no cause for concern, i should "keep an eye on it" (so to speak) and return if it was still there in 6 mos. it is still there, and i suspect it may be slightly larged, although that's extremely hard for me to gauge. the cyst itself is hard, immobile, supeficial, and clear/translucent. i am about to seek treatment/further examination and i do not have a regular ob/gyn in the city where i am now living. i would appreciate any information i could get.
