Dr. Marchbein, E2 level was WNL for menopausal female of which I was told was normal for my situation. I don't think there was a level specific for HRT as was the FH. I am taking Remifemin and drinking soy milk (yuk) and toss in 4 kyolic a day. I have gone the full circle with this..first the hot flashes were not felt to be HRT related then after a couple of thousand in cat's,nuclear and blood tests and thyroid bx with cancer scare...was benign necrosing follicular adenoma. This has led the docs to go back to HRT as reason. The endocrinologist is to be able to tell me more if this is thyroid in nature..only T3 was low on those levels. Calcium level was high as was WBC's, sed rate normal. Oncology screen was normal. Oddly this thing in thyroid has really grown since the hyst. No one (3 specialists-ob/gyn,hematologist/ent) wants to place all my symptoms in one basket. Was this something you are familiar with? Thanks for your input. Janet
