Dear Womens Health Forum: I am 15 wks pregnant with my second child. I was diagnosed about 4 wks ago with atopic staff infection. My Dermo. Dr. has had me on the Z-pck antibiotic, and 2 different types of steriod creams. I have checked with my OB Dr and she said that that type of treatment was OK for the infection that I had. My Dermo., is know stating that I should go to a tanning facility to dry up the sores on my legs and arms but I am concerned as to the affects this may have on the baby. He states that there are no complications for this and he would not recommend it if there were. All that I plan to do is to tan my legs and my arms. I do not plan on resting in the bed itself. I am very concerned!!! Could you please give me some insight as to the ramifications for this type of treatment? Sincerely, Melissa
