The probelm is that there is disagreement as to whether it truly exists so the definition is difficult to come by.

The believers feel that the blood vessels of the pelvis are expanded or "congested" and this congestion or reduced flow with resultant swelling of the vessels, produces pain or discomfort. The origin of the congestionis unknown.
